At a minimum EU visitors should be provided with a cookie use notice and consent. Usually implemented with a JS modal / popup. An "OK" or "I Agree" button confirms consent and makes the popup disappear. Typical to utilize additional cookie session control to suppress loading popup after consent for 30 days.

Should also have a hyperlink to the full privacy and cookie use policy.
