Hello,
I just downloaded the Windows Live Writer to my desktop from this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/open-live-writer/9nblggh5279m?activetab=pivot:overviewtab. I have the program pinned to my taskbar and everything, but when I try to open it nothing happens. When I click the icon, it looks like it's loading but the program does not open. Has anyone experienced this problem before?
Any help would be appreciated- thanks!

I don't know why that app is so problematic. But, you have to restart, disable AV, and close everything you can in the sys tray. I went through the same thing.John Karl Braun JrData Center Operations, VPBrauntek Computing Proactive Support Team2234 N. Uninstall it completely and run ccleaner or whatever cleaner you have. Reboot. Disable AV, shut down as many apps and processes as possible. Make sure you don't have a Windows update half way through or failed. Check on Windows update failures too. Don't ask me why I but I went through this too! |
