We need to develop a communications plan. As a start, I have:

@VivianePons I have tried to put up a communications plan, or at least started to figure out how we should structure one. I created a separate tag "Communications" because some of what's here is to be organized differently from WP2 stuff. I am willing to do the work of getting the ball rolling on blog posts, and maybe even finding partner blogs for crossposting. @mikecroucher could put the content in shape and I could make sure it gets spread.

Not sure if this is the right place to mention this, but I was thinking about what the reviewers said about making the web page more immediately engaging to the public. I was just looking, for unrelated reasons, at the website for the Nucleus Project, another Horizon 2020 project. It has a big scrolling splash banner with links to recent news stories and blog posts. It also displays the project's twitter feed. I'd also point out most or all of the blog posts have header images that are displayed in the previews, and in the posts themselves. We could make it part of #235 to encourage use of masthead images with blog posts, etc.

These all may seem like superficial things--and of course it's the content that matters most of all--but I think in terms of public engagement little things like this could go a long way.

It is already part of #235. And yes, it helps engage humans, but it also contributes to better amplification on social networks.

Ah, I see that now. Somehow glossed over it before. Great!

I'll probably even go back and edit my one blog post (and I'd like to do another soon) to add images.
