I have the latest build, I use Windows 10 and I have MUNT on my computer, however, no MT32 support, am I missing something here ? Because I read the doc and didn't really find how to do it.

to have MT32 music : Windows users should just install the mt32emu_win32drv and

what's wrong exactly ?

I apologize for the lack of details.

I downloaded the Windows x64 binaries (I unfortunately don't know much about programming, so I have no idea on how to compile the source code provided) and while I have MUNT emulator and the drivers installed and the correct path for the roms in opendune.ini (which I left in the folder with the exe), music does not play with MT32 sound, even when MUNT emulator is open alongside OpenDUNE.

Do I need to have a Midi device for windows ? Or am I just not doing what is required ?

Again, my sincerest apologies if I misunderstood something, I feel really stupid about asking about this.

no sound at all ? or General midi playing instead with wrong instruments ?

have you set the mt32midi=1 option ?
What's the debug output ?

I think it's general midi using wrong instruments (MUNT doesn't show anything) and plays really slow (at least I think it plays slow).
mt32midi is on and there is no debug log, only error.log and output.log in the folder.

Also, weird thing, the game language is set to french in the ini, but the game is in english. Now I don't mind that, but it's as if the game won't read opendune.ini in some way.

Edit : if you meant "output.log" the file is blank.

gggg, OpenDUNE must be rebuilt with debug option to output anything useful.

with the windows version, opendune.ini is searched in
1 - %APPDATA%/OpenDUNE
2 - current directory
3 - data/ directory (subdirectory of current dir)

Debug mode is activated in opendune.ini, and said ini is in the folder with the exe.

; DEBUG options :
;debug_game=1
;debug_scenario=1
;debug_skip_dialogs=1
;debug_log_game=1
