what's wrong exactly ? |
I apologize for the lack of details. I downloaded the Windows x64 binaries (I unfortunately don't know much about programming, so I have no idea on how to compile the source code provided) and while I have MUNT emulator and the drivers installed and the correct path for the roms in opendune.ini (which I left in the folder with the exe), music does not play with MT32 sound, even when MUNT emulator is open alongside OpenDUNE. Do I need to have a Midi device for windows ? Or am I just not doing what is required ? Again, my sincerest apologies if I misunderstood something, I feel really stupid about asking about this. |
no sound at all ? or General midi playing instead with wrong instruments ? have you set the |
I think it's general midi using wrong instruments (MUNT doesn't show anything) and plays really slow (at least I think it plays slow). Also, weird thing, the game language is set to french in the ini, but the game is in english. Now I don't mind that, but it's as if the game won't read opendune.ini in some way. Edit : if you meant "output.log" the file is blank. |
gggg, OpenDUNE must be rebuilt with debug option to output anything useful. with the windows version, opendune.ini is searched in |
Debug mode is activated in opendune.ini, and said ini is in the folder with the exe. ; DEBUG options : |
I have the latest build, I use Windows 10 and I have MUNT on my computer, however, no MT32 support, am I missing something here ? Because I read the doc and didn't really find how to do it.
