Hello All,

Is it a known issue on Linux that the sound is cracking after each voice ?
Please listen to my recording:

Dune.mp4

The midi music is fine , only the speaking is cracking.

I'm not sure.. I think I use the default one.
Is it possible to change it in the Ini file or with a command line argument?

On my system PipeWire is the main audio server.

I'm getting the same thing.

  • I compiled with pulse configured
  • My audio server is pipewire
  • Audio is cracking I believe at the start and end of every sample

But also, unlike xcom169:

you should try with SDL sound.
$ ./configure --without-pulse --without-alsa
