This test card is used to validate ideas and working hypotheses consistently in 4 steps: 1) Hypothesis 2) Experiment 3) Metric 4) Criterion

1. Hypothesis: We believe that

Python as a coding language will make learning to program robots more simple.

2. Experiment: To verify it we will do

Use existing codes or create new ones to work with Otto and show to teachers.

Materials needed:

  • Otto robot, raspberry pi and micro:bit boards

Tasks

  • Find similar codes to use
  • Learn basics of python
  • Create libraries for a bipedal robot.
  • Document and integrate into Blockly

3. Metric: and we will measure the following indicators

Does the kids understand Python language easier than with Arduino code

4. Criteria: We have partially validated the idea if

Python is simple enough to be used in workshops with people or kids without any coding knowledge.
