Hi there,
this is my first time opening an issue on GitHub, so I hope I'm doing everything correctly, haha
I really like the way the new tabs look! I always really liked the option of customising my web browser (and the new custom theme option is so cool). It makes the whole experience of working and doing researches for school so much more pleasant!

I was wondering if you could please consider adding some features that I think would make it even better, please?✨

  • Dark and light modes for themes (setting a custom theme for a dark and light mode based on the system setting)
I use auto dark mode enabler on my Windows 11 and would love to synchronise my wallpapers, as using only the light or dark one feels a tad out of place, when used with the opposite task bar. 🙈)

  • Partially transparent widgets and custom hex colour codes
Being able to set the transparency of widget colours and choose the colour more precisely

  • Different colour options for the Anori logo next to the "New tab" so it fits the theme
Or even a custom image? But I really like yours!

  • Custom icons for the search bar
I really like the way the icons for other widgets look and wish they'd apply to the search bar as well (YouTube, Google images, Bing, Duck Duck Go and Ecosia included. The option to search Reddit would also be very handy!

  • Synchronising the shopping list with Google Keep or Google Tasks and the calendar with Google Calendar (so the calendar would open as a website shortcut?)

  • Moving the editing feature to settings
But that might be only a personal preference 🙈 I use ALT + E currently and that's fine too

Thank you for your work! ^^

Ahoj Mikaela, thank you for your feedback :)
I'm glad you liked Anori

I'll give a thought to these feature requests, but as always can't promise when (and if) they make it to the release :)

Moving the editing feature to settings

If it's the icon that is bothering you, there is an option (in Settings > General) to hide it

@OlegWock Thank you, I completely understand that, just had some ideas haha

Mhm, that's what I currently use, but I change the page quite often, hence why I had the idea - thanks!
