General informations

Operating system : Fedora 30

Server informations

Perl version : 5.28.2
Mysql / Mariadb / Percona version : 10.3.17

Server installation method ( Only one choice )

  • RPM Package
  • [ X ] Install SH
  • Manual installation

OCS Inventory informations

Ocs server version : 2.6.0

Problem's description

The OCS Inventory Unix Client is able to run scripts from /etc/ocsinventory/softwares to augment the existing software inventory. It would be nice if the Server had a default place I could drop those scripts. Building a full addon to deploy a few shell scripts feels like overkill.

This would require Deployment to be enabled on the server. In theory each script would "just appear" as a package to deploy so that Admins will still control what goes where.
