If you have issues where this mod works, and then totally falls off when you go in the map screen, then I think I have found a fix. This was a documented issue that was fixed in one of the patches, and requires vsync to be ON in the game and it "recovers" to maintain its fps. This is (I believe) only an issue with RT or PT on as well.

Enabling framegen in the game, disables vysnc and your ability to turn it on in game. So force it on, with framegen on, via the ini and then make it read only. This file is located at AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077 called UserSettings.json. You can even get boost to ultra, where you can only get it "on" with framegen enabled.

What I did was set the game up how I want with vsync on (turn fg off first, you can also turn boost to ultra now), and framegen off. Go to that file, look for "DLSSFrameGen" and make the two values there true instead of false. Save the file. Set it read only.

You can see the game recover better, by doing that map screen test earlier. You can also clearly "feel" boost is now ultra. I don't think its perfect, but it most definitely is much better and never even gets close to that earlier drop.

**Its better, but not perfect. If you turn off framegen it recovers every time as long as in game vsync is on. I dont get why it has to be like this, at least its the only game that does it.

***Seems you can force vsync on via the ini, and it will stay regardless of whether it is read only. So thats all you really need to do, is turn vsync (or frame gen) on in the ini.
