Open sourcing the app should be under consideration in my opinion. Especially given that Windows 10 is expected to have a built in DoT implementation eventually, and this project may benefit from the contributions of the open source community to make it better faster and have a wider adoption rate.

Open sourcing is still on my list, but I'm not planning to release it for the foreseeable future as MS still doesn't give us more information about .Net Core 3.0 for UWP, and the future of UWP in .net 5.0.
