Is there a way to prevent FXP from returning an array of named objects?

The xml

<things>
  <thing blah="blah">blah</thing>
  <thing blah="blah">blah</thing>
  <thing blah="blah">blah</thing>
</things>

Will give me an object that contains an array of thing: {whatever object}

Is there a way of just having an array of the objects? (ignoring thing)

An array needs to be assigned to some property. Eg

<things>
  <thing blah="blah">blah
      <thing blah="blah">blah</thing>
      <thing blah="blah">blah</thing>
      <thing blah="blah">blah</thing>
  </thing>
  <thing blah="blah">blah</thing>
  <thing blah="blah">blah</thing>
</things>

What would be your suggestion for above XML?

The thing is that this format makes it annoying to type in TS the parsed object. Example:

type Salida = {Metadatos: {Metadato: Metadato}[], Pantallas: {Pantalla: Pantalla} [], Insercion: Insercion[], Calendarios: Calendario[]};

Well! I didn't understand but the point is we need generic solution for all type of XMLs.
