It would be really useful to be able to take a post and split it off into a new thread which may or may not be in the same category. Ideally, there'd be a way to select multiple posts, and they'll all go into the new thread.
The most common usecase for people would likely be splitting posts from a de-railed thread, in order to keep them on topic. My specific usecase is to move posts into a 'deleted/archive' area; kind of a poor man's soft delete.
