Identify redundant transformations happening across EDM and the app itself

This is a research task. We should see if it would help us to change the data schema. This would involve EDM.

• Consider fixing data upstream to default to 0 instead of null
• Don't convert to camelCase in EDM workflow

I like this! I think this will be easier once we adopt more of the ETL process from population.
