To reproduce:

  • Open VAPOR
  • Load a dataset
  • Apply a slice renderer
  • [optional step] Offset the slice to the end of the domain. You'll see a gap.

Background: We have a scientist who is trying to use this to display a variable on the surface of the domain and is observing this issue.
Is it related to #3383 ?

try increasing the sampling rate.
