Minecraft fails to launch from shortcut when directly connecting to a server with a specific account on launch

Description of bug

Minecraft is supposed to launch after reaching 7/7 on forge. It however does not launch but does launch from the console window after selecting launch. It is supposed to launch first attempt.

This only happens through trying to launch the instance through a shortcut that joins using a specific account and directly connects to a server.

Steps to reproduce

Have shortcut of instance on your desktop.
Attempt to launch.
Launch fails.

Temporary fix:
Launch from console window or multimc itself.

Suspected cause

As far as I'm aware MultiMC doesn't have a safe mode so launching through a shortcut that allows you to connect with a specific account and to a specific server shouldn't have any issue if when you launch it from the console window or MultiMC it launches to the main menu. So the mods I have aren't the issue it's something to do with it directly connecting to a server with a specific account on launch using the shortcut.

This issue is unique
