Autocomplete Toggle in Settings #1901
Comments
Why? That sounds like a workaround for some problem - the problem itself should be addressed. |
The problem for me is that it's distracting and I don't want things popping up when I'm coding. I prefer to be in zen mode, and I already know all the built-in Lua and Mudlet functions so I don't need anything autocompleted for me. |
I see Qt Creator has an option to toggle it to be manual/automatic activation. That'd be good to have. |
@vadi2 If you think it's wise, we could hotfix in a toggle if I get one pushed out today. Otherwise, @macjabeth can use a test build with the toggle in it until the next release is ready. |
I don't think it's hotfix-worthy, people are pretty happy with the functionality and it's not a major blocking bug. Next release will be great. |
Sure. I'll let you know when a test is released so you can use that until the next release, @macjabeth |
Done, on the bugs anniversary 🎉 |
It would be wonderful if the autocomplete feature of the editor could be toggled on or off in the settings.
