How to best deal with SSR in the Account section of Blazor Server?

I am aware that MudBlazor doesn't work in SSR but is there some kind of workaround to make at least parts of Mudblazor work when you are in the Account/Manage path?

MudBlazor does work in SSR, what does not work is the interactivity baked in to some components. This is not a limitation of MudBlazor though, it's a general Blazor (or rather Static Page) implementation where C# code is not executed on static pages. The page is rendered on the server and forwarded to the client, at which point no changes to the DOM occur. So, styling and rendering of all Mud components should work just fine, but things like button clicks that should execute some method (code) would not work. See here

The only interactivity you have in static pages are

• Edit Forms which submits the data to the server and returns a response that updates the page
• Javascript which executes client side and updates the page

Depending on what functions you want to work with SSR, you can wrap MudBlazor and implement your own javascript. Similar to what's done in this nuget package

What about the streamrendering feature? Shouldn't that work?

Streaming rendering is pretty much an enhanced version of static rendering. It's still not interactive. It simply includes some additional js functions to allow the page to be displayed while all the data hasn't loaded as yet. While standard static rendering would wait for the data to be fully loaded before anything is displayed. The behavior should be the same besides this detail.

@Anu6is I also realised that the AntiForgeryToken seems to fail if you have the form in a popover or similar. I don't understand why since there is no javascript involved there.

I'm no expert in how AntiForgeryToken works so I can't say.
I've had minor issues with it before and had to use AntiForgeryStateProvider.GetAntiforgeryToken() and set the hidden values myself.

I managed to get it to work by setting it manually through MainLayout. Some script or something seems to stop it from activating via the normal

In case anyone else gets this issue. It was important to get the Logout button in my Popover.
