Cannot set recur unit to end of month

I'm trying to setup a recurring payment using vault, and I seem to be unable to use "eom" for the recur unit. "month" works fine, but setting "eom" fails with the message "Cancelled: \nError bad character content for element 'recur_unit'\n__________________\n". I'm using version 1.0.5 of the API.
