We are currently seeking help to expand the documentation and provide more instructions for gptstudio. The aim is to make this tool even more accessible and user-friendly for the entire community.

What we're looking for

We are particularly interested in creating a comprehensive set of tutorials or articles for different aspects of the package. Below is a list of the desired tutorials/articles:

  • Setting package options for a single session and persisting across sessions
  • Using the comment code addin, including a few practical examples
  • Working with the spelling & grammar addin, with example usage
  • Using the ChatGPT in source addin, demonstrated through examples
  • Setting the API key in .Rprofile (including optional instructions on how to obtain an API key)
  • Using the ChatGPT app effectively, along with a few examples and suggestions on when it might be most beneficial to use

How to contribute

If you're interested in contributing, you can start by choosing one of the topics mentioned above. Please let us know in the comments below which topic(s) you would like to tackle, or if you would like to propose a new one.

Once you've written the tutorial/article, you can create a pull request with your vignette. If you're unfamiliar with this process, this GitHub guide is a great place to start. No worries if you don't get it right the first time. See our Contributing guidelines and our Code of Conduct for more.

Acknowledgements

All contributions will be fully acknowledged, and your GitHub username will be added to the package's contributors list.

Thank you for considering helping us improve this package! We look forward to seeing your contributions and working together to make gptstudio even better.

Very nice! I can also work on a vignette about adding translations for the chat app. After that we can have an open issue requesting for translations as good first issue and help wanted.
