Installation Switches to German After Restart

Hi, I installed MikTex for the first time on my machine (Ventura 13.5.1) and when I selected system-wide installation and restart, it switched to German (previously was in English, my computer system language is English). I'm quite confused to why it's in German, possibly because I am in Switzerland (although the French part). I was able to switch it back but I'd like to report a bug since I imagine it's not meant to switch without prompting the user, plus it claimed it was "system language" in settings but I do not have a German keyboard installed on this machine.
