Cannot locate resource 'themes/materialdesigntheme.defaults.xaml'. What could I do with this?

This is a known breaking change with the 5.0.0 release. You need to replace MaterialDesignTheme.Defaults.xaml with either MaterialDesign2.Defaults.xaml or MaterialDesign3.Defaults.xaml.

It worked! THank you for fast reply. However having another issue (not sure maybe more appropriate to create another thread for it). My tabcontrol, generated by Tookjit app, looks like this:

Of course, if overlaps with another controls, but I also tried to remove them and nothing changed. Maybe I should fix smth in Window tag attributes? THank you in advance!

Some of what is probably causing you issues is the brushes being used there. Things like Background="{DynamicResource MaterialDesignPaper}" and TextElement.Foreground="{DynamicResource MaterialDesignBody}"

There is a cleaner approach using a built-in style for Windows. Style="{StaticResource MaterialDesignWindow}".

I ve adjusted those parameters usage (dynamic vs static resource) and it looks much closer to what I need. Maybe you can also suggest for my better understanding - what tutorial should I go through to understand how to better tackle situations when for example Staticresource not found?
