Thanks @HenningLorenzen-ext-bayer for being the first to notice and fix the issues! We at rOpenSci use this package as part of our checking systems, and were immediately affected by the CRAN archiving. Discussions with MangoTheCat (now ascent.io) led to them handing over maintenance of the package to us. As part of that, they also separately implemented your fixes, so I'm going to close this PR now. But our assumption of maintenance means that this package should generally be more actively maintained from here on, and any future contributions you might care to make will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
