configuration doc removed MM_ env variables used in multi instance servers on the same machine #195

you cannot do multi instance with the config.env file as the name is hard coded.

the doc needs to restore the MM_ env vars approach (as well as the config.env approach)

Is the use case to run with templating the config.js and multiple target config.js?

the example removed the doc for the built in env vars. I was advising someone how to run multiple instances. and went to the doc. I don't see how to do this w the envsub environment scripting

so it is a documentation issue, if it's o.k. for you I will move this issue into the doc repo

AFAIS this was never in the docs (digged in the whole history of introduction.md and there are only 2 variables:

  • MM_CONFIG_FILE
  • MM_PORT
