simple comic wont open

i use mac os high sierra 10.13.6 and i just downloaded simple comic. i've redownloaded and removed and restarted my system a few times but i don't see simple comic's window. i can see the app in my deck. i checked through activity monitor and i can see it in the list but it's not using anything. the comic preview for finder works though. i'm not sure what's wrong.

@noisykilljoy Like Preview.app, Simple Comic has no window until you actually open an image or folder of images or CBZ/CBR file with it.

Are you able to see a window once you open files?

I opened CBR files and nothing showed up. I just tried it with a JPG file and nada.

@noisykilljoy on High Sierra you might be better served with the original version of Simple Comic from before we forked it. You can find that here http://dancingtortoise.com/simplecomic/
