Revert to logical dimensions for numerous timesteps

I'm having an issue when using open_mdsdataset I'd really appreciate some help with. If I open one timestep of my data, open_mdsdataset ascribes physical dimensions and provides attributes for all variables and coordinates. However, when I open more than one timestep, it reverts to logical dimensions and loses all attribute information, see below. If anyone has an idea of the source of this (missing/insufficient metadata perhaps?) I'd appreciate the help.
