Hi there,
how are you doing?

My name is Peter Liao, and I'm a software engineer in Taiwan. I work for a company that is a partner of IBM and focuses on the promotion of LinuxForHealth FHIR. We recently helped Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital, one of the best hospitals in southern Taiwan, successfully import LinuxForHealth/FHIR. We are now committed to recommending it to more hospitals.

Therefore, I have a few questions about this product:

  1. Will LinuxForHealth FHIR Server continue to be developed?
  2. Who are the LinuxForHealth FHIR sponsors?
  3. Although LinuxForHealth FHIR is open source, which company owns its ownership? Francisco Partners (Merative)?
  4. What is the relationship between the LinuxForHealth FHIR development team and Francisco Partners (Merative)?
  5. Is HL7 FHIR v5.0.0 (FHIR Release fixup for bash files and bat files and fhir-cli migration #5, 2023-03-26) an important milestone version of the release? (like v4.0.1 and v4.3.0)
  6. When is the LinuxForHealth FHIR that supports FHIR v5.0.0 (R5 Sequence) expected to be released?
  7. Will LinuxForHealth FHIR Server support DB2 in the future?
  8. In the US or globally, which hospitals are using LinuxForHealth FHIR in their production or official environment?

These questions are purely for introduction and persuasion to customers.
I would be grateful if you could answer them or provide me with relevant links.
Thank you very much and have a great one.

Sincerely,

Peter LIao
