We can package the program for use as a python or abaqus module - this will help it gain wider traction.
An example of how to do this using f2py is my MANIC model demo.
For abaqus it seems to require a fairly simple one-liner - see https://www.4realsim.com/free-fortran-compiler-abaqus/
