We've made a lot of changes to the cluster and baremetal.md should be updated to reflect that. Some notable changes are

  • Cert manager. Had to be completely reinstalled recently due to completely out of date versions.
  • For our custom login/about/faq pages, we consolidated all of these files into a single repo and no longer use static html images.
  • We've added ipmitools to the flock cluster. We could add some docs about that.
  • Pretty sure our grafana setup is different now, and it should automatically redeploy all the alerts even if it fails

There's probably also some things in there which are no longer relevant. Making this issue as a reminder to do this at some point.

Need to talk about the protocol for adding new users to the Hub, and the relevant config files. Putting this here so that issue #168 can be closed.

We should Github Archive the old unused repos if we don't use them anymore.

Already done, with a note in README.md redirecting people to jupyterhub-templates.

A huge part of our team are leaving, so we need to do this fairly quickly.

Some suggested tasks:

  • Update the Table of Contents
  • Revamp bare-metal.md (or rename/archive/restructure the file)
  • Possibly reorganize the directory tree in the docs section?
  • Make a list of higher priority reading? There are a lot of docs and perhaps it might be confusing where to start?
