The address on my ledger Nano S is not matching the address within the Monero GUI and my XMR are not showing up. Can anyone assist me in getting these to show up in my Monero GUI?

Thank you. Nathan

Did the address in the GUI ever match the one shown on the Ledger Nano S?

It seems likely that you mixed up the wallet, or maybe selected a different account in the GUI?

Generally, you should always trust the Ledger, and not your desktop application. But there's something strange if the two don't match.

Note: The main address will begin with a 4, subaddresses begin with an 8. It's also possible to select different addresses on the ledger device, so check that as well.

Hey, when I check the second account on the Ledger device (through Settings > Select account > Account 1), the address starts with a 4. But in the GUI, the second account or any subaddress for that matter, start with a 8.

The first account's first address (starting with 4) in the GUI matches the first account's address in the Ledger, but any derived address doesn't. How come?

Is there a way to see the derived subaddresses (starting with 8) on the Ledger device? Likewise, is there a way to see the second account from the device (starting with 4) in the Monero GUI?
