Hero6 uses a multi-license arrangement to account for source code and creative assets.

Original Content

Source Code

All self-produced software code is hosted on-line in Hero6/src. It is licensed under the MIT license, a copy of the license should be included with your copy of Hero6, but is also hosted in the source code repository.

All code files included under the license have a copyright notice within the header, if the copyright notice is missing for a code file assume that the file falls under "all rights reserved".

Assets

By assets, we mean graphics (backgrounds, sprites, video), audio (music, sound effects) and written creative work (plot and similar). All such content is licensed under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.

Graphics and audio will be stored on the source code repository at Hero6/assets, as well as Google Drive. The copyright notice will be implemented into the metadata of each individual file, if it is missing assume that the file falls under "all rights reserved".

Written creative works will be stored on Google Drive and One Drive. The copyright notice will be implemented on the front page of each individual document, if it is missing assume that the document and its contents falls under "all rights reserved".

A copy of the license should be included with your copy of Hero6, if not it is hosted in the source code repository.

A full list of the copyright holders for Hero6 can be found in the file COPYRIGHT.md.
