Hello, pardon me, dumb beta tester here. On the new Ultimate 2023.2 I installed the Kotlin Notebook and Python plugins. Downloaded the Welcome...ipynb, double-clicked on it which launched Bluefish with the bare bones ipynb code.

I even have a jupyter-notebook instance running in background.

How to run the ipynb?

Hi! Do you mean Bluefish editor?)
Create any project in IDEA or open existing one, move downloaded notebook there (i.e. to the project root) and open it from IDEA. It seems that file association was not created for ipynb

Opening the notebook from outside the project should also work
