Manga recommendation does not load from notification

Brief summary

When I tap on a manga recommendation notification, the app opens up and tries to load the manga, but fails, instead displaying a blank white screen with no error.
This persists for at least 30 seconds. No amount or type of screen interaction changes the display.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open up notifications tray.
2. Expand Kotatsu recommendations section.
3. Tap on an individual manga recommendation notification.
4. App opens, displays persistent blank screen.
