Hey @ThomasCollignon do you experience this with other applications too or is it just Insomnia in your environment?

I've noticed such a long startup delay only for Insomnia and Postman.
If Bitdefender slows down the startup of other application, it has a much lower impact than for those two.

Could this be an Electron thing? Do you have other Electron applications that perhaps you can try with?

According to ChatGPT, VSCode and Slack are also based on Electron. The startup delay of those two apps is max 5 seconds, while for Insomnia it's closer to 30 seconds.

Seems related: electron/electron#32375

It appears you can white list these applications yourself to avoid this issue.
