Hi, I'm wondering if it is worth putting in a check in the make setup for already installed packages and version, as sometimes tying to update the version of the already installed packages can cause compatibility issues. Specifically this occurred with trying to install NPM on ubuntu 22.04 and some uninstallable packages when it tried to update NPM.
