Connecting internet to the alpha 250

Hi Team,

I am want to connect the alpha 250 to the internet to install some packages.

So , i did change in /etc/network/interfaces to dynamic IP, by commenting static ip configuration and uncommenting dynamic IP configuration.

I set my Computer to dynamic IP configuration

i know my computer has 192.168.200.20 (dynamic ip)
and LED in the alpha 250 boards sums up to 254(except first led, all other LED glows)
that means ip address of alpha 250 board is 192.168.200.254

but i am not able to connect to that? can you help me out?

Alternative approach
i am trying to reach alpha 250 through serial USB communication.

i used USB to USB 2.0 cable and i dont see any ports connected in device manager
i think i have to use USB to USB 3.0?

By default the ALPHA250 image is set to dynamic IP, did you changed it already ?

Having the address terminated by 254 means the board probably didn't get a proper IP from the router.

Maybe it's easier if you assign a static IP (see https://www.koheron.com/support/tutorials/assign-static-ip/).
