Dear Klaus,

Is there an option to control which optimization method is used by optim via optim.pml ?
If not, would you suggest calling optim directly?

Many thanks!
Keren

Hi Keren,
not really, I tried a few things which usually gave me the best result on different data sets. I often transformed the parameter that I don't need to enforce bounded optimisation, which is often much slower. I think if you can find some parameters which are robust and work in most cases.
