When to use \Swap heat and auto mode\ and \target 5° instead off

Im wondering how to find out if I have to tick the boxes
"If the auto means heat for your TRV and you want to swap it"
and
"If your TRV can't handle the off mode ... 5° instead"

I'm using 3 different hmip TRVs in my house. Those are

• hmip eTRV-2
• hmip eTRV-B and hmip eTRV-B-2R4M (don't know where is the difference)
• hmip eTRV-C-2

Can anyone tell me, how to find out, if I have to tick those boxes?
