large game library causes compact grid spacing to glitch

I have a decent size library and love the compact view to see more at once. the issue comes when i start scrolling. im assuming because steam isnt ready to have all my games loaded at once it starts to freak out and try to catch up. here is a video showcasing the issue. it also weirdly like shoots up to my library when i scroll up.
