Hello recently i installed the Aerial.I set the Aerial Composition launching as invisible. At first I can change the Video Wallpaqper in system settings. However after a few hour ,I found that the video screensaver turns black while I have already chosen a video as a wallpaper. When I click the option button, nothing happened .I tried to restart the service in activity monitor or reinstall the hole app, nothing works. I am using M2 MacBook pro with MacOS Somina 14.2.1 thanks.

Looks like I keep missing issues somehow. Hmm

@WindowsCola, you say this : "At first I can change the Video Wallpaqper in system settings"

First make sure that you are actually using Aerial, and not a video wallpaper as your screensaver too :

Capture d’écran 2024-02-10 à 16 27 58

  • Open System Settings
  • Go to ScreenSaver
  • See if it says "Aerial" on top or not next to the picture (see my arrow).

If it doesn't:

  • Scroll all the way down to "Others" section
  • Scroll that section all the way to the right, or click "See All"
  • Find Aerial, click it, it should show at the top
  • Make sure "Show on all Spaces" is enabled

Same goes @magicmilesss

If it's enabled and doesn't work :

  • Try one reboot
  • If still doesn't work, go to that settings pane, then Advanced, then scroll down to enable "Debug mode"

  • Try launching one more time, wait like 20 seconds
  • Then go back to that panel, use the Show log in Finder button and grab the "AerialLog.txt" file it points to, and attach it here so I can have a look

Thanks !

Hey @glouel commented on this issue #1359 with my debug file - wasn't sure which one was more similar to what I was experiencing.
