With dimming enabled, the screen savers in between flashes bright and then continues dimming again. It does this multiple times.

@Duckbilled what do you mean by "in between" ?

Like between videos ?

@glouel after a few seconds, maybe 10 or so. I could check if there is some consistency. It dims slowly and then brightens up, what seems to be completely. So, not even in between videos.

Edit: So it is approx. every 21 seconds, but after 3 cycles it just stays bright.

@Duckbilled are you using HDR videos ? I'm wondering if this is linked, I believe on some generations of laptops, Apple pushes up the brightness while playing HDR videos, and this might interfere with me trying to dim the screen.

@glouel I’ll try non-HDR and let you know :)

so, yes and no. When I put both start and finish on the first quarter it works fine, but when I put them independent from each other it flickers even more often.

I actually only need to set a specific brightness, without the fading. Maybe on 1/5th or something like that, but it is pretty difficult to align them exactly. Could you maybe add an option to just set a max brightness?
