Text decals don't brighten with light

Hello.
At night, when shining the flashlight on the labels in the cabin, they don't seem to brighten with the background. This makes them appear to turn black when light is shining on them.


This may be related to issue #154.

Image 1 is really hard to see, but it shows the labels being brighter than the background. Image 2 shows the labels being darker than the background.
