I can see that a file named [{"filetype":"jpg","id":"cbg001","name":"Grand Canyon 01","src":"/teams-for-linux/custom-bg/1050608.jpg","thumb_src":"/teams-for-linux/custom-bg/1050608_thumb.jpg"}] |

@tomk3003 I just got this to work after beating on it a while. I couldn't get it to work with a remote Apache instance but I was able to get it to work with a local one. This is my config.json: The biggest clue that helped me was you mentioned that custom_bg_remote.json was getting written and like you mentioned it had prefixed the paths with "/teams-for-linux/custom-bg" . What fixed it for me was creating that path on my filesystem (not under the apache2 DocumentRoot), so now I have /teams-for-linux/custom-bg/backgrounds -> /var/www/html/backgrounds/. I think whoever developed this feature for the program tested with this setup on their workstation and the program may have some references to it. |

We have released a new version that works for teamsv2 under https://github.com/IsmaelMartinez/teams-for-linux/releases/tag/v1.4.36 (do check the docs as there are a few changes and is now disabled by default). Check if that works for you |

I tested that my webserver is serving the config.json and the images successfully.
I can see in the webserver's access log that the config.json is fetched from the server on Teams start
and an empty thumbnail with the correct name is shown in the background list.
But Teams does not try to fetch either the image or the thumbnail.
How can I debug this further?
