Describe the bug
On WP multisite install when uploading a file to the WP gallery the file uploads fine and the thumbnail appears. After opening the attachment details the image link is no longer valid as it now is something like
https://sub.domain.com/test/wp-content/uploads/sites/20/sites/20/2023/09/test.png
Looking at the database the _wp_attached_file meta_value is sites/20/2023/09/test.png

Removing the "sites/20" part from the meta_value corrects the URL paths and the images display correctly in WP

Disabling the plugin also resolves the issue and new uploaded images work fine

Settings:
Upload path = blank
keep subsites = off
upload images = off
ignored MIIME types = image/*

Expected behavior
the site and subsite path information is not required in the metadata

Server (please complete the following information)

  • php 8.1 / litespeed
  • wp Version 6.3.1

How did you install the plugin?
WP plugin

Additional context
Add any other context about the problem here.
I only wish to use this plugin for videos, is there a way to disable anything to do with images
