At least some of the effects in the Border Transition category (like the underline or overline) leave some traces in Safari. This behavior is very random.

Please refer to the following screen shots:

Tested in:
OS X 10.10.5 and 11
Safari 10 and 11

Please don't close this issue. #126 only fixes "from centre" border transitions and this bug is also found in "right" and "left" effects.

EDIT: #126 doesn't fix either the centre, right or left effects; at least in Safari the 1px trace is still visible.

I'm on OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 and Safari 10.1.2
