http://www.idpf.org/epub/vocab/package/types/ shows "edupub" as the appropriate content of dc:type

http://www.idpf.org/epub/profiles/edu/spec/#h.nsjfhxwfp3rp shows dc:typeeducation/dc:type

Thanks,

Dave

All things "edupub" are being put out to pasture, so in the latest draft we changed the type. It hasn't propagated everywhere yet, though.

It also feels problematic given that all content to date will be identified as "edupub". We'll need a new release of epubcheck for "education" to trigger the right validation and possibly a warning against further use of "edupub", or else leave it as an alias. If you change now, you're not going to validate your content beyond that it conforms to 3.0.

You can't just zip up the source files. You need to follow the zip requirements for the epub container, or run epubcheck on the unpackaged source with the -save option to do it for you.

If you want to view the edupub samples, the easiest way is to download the prepackaged versions here:
