Show to end user that editing is not possible

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I'm always frustrated when I am not logged in and cannot edit metric config and I find out at the point where I want to edit something. Then I first need to log in, and that is very annoying.

Describe the solution you'd like
That the interface shows clearly that it is not editable.

this should also apply to historic information, this is not editable as well
