Add Zoom feature

I wonder if a slider to zoom the view of an image wouldn't be useful. It wouldn't affect the actually saved image, but only its representation in the window.

Imagine you have huge images from a 20 MPixel camera: you'd only see the top-left corner of the image...
One slider from 10% to 100% in 10%-steps and from 100% to 400% in 50%-steps may be OK. I expect zooming out huge images is needed more than zooming into small images.

I think this could be very confusing. If you have a huge image you should use the Size Control to resize the image.

But if I only want to apply an action like lighten up the image a bit?
