bug: Sidebar theming is broken in main but not in beta1

What happened?

As reported in Matrix, Sidebar colors don't set correctly on latest nightly build but works fine in beta1

To Reproduce

1. Install beta1
2. Apply theme with sidebar colors
3. Check nautilus, colors are fine
4. Do the same with nightly, no worky

Same here with the current flathub version

tested on main recently, appears to work, but was broken on 0.8.0-beta1for me. maybe can be closed?
