[Request]: Follow local timelines

Describe the request

I would like to be able to see all of the posts which come from a certain instance in my home time line.
Some mastodon instances make their https://example.social/public/local publicly available. It would be awesome to follow these timelines, similarly as one can follow communities on Lemmy. I am not sure if this can be solved on Tuba level, or if it would require changes to the underlying activity pub code.
