LinuxGSM Palworld Internet Ip: Not Set

Hello,

I have an up-to-date LinuxGSM server running on Ubuntu 22.04.3. I've installed Palworld and Valheim on it. Both servers have been validated and updated using the appropriate command. However, I'm facing an issue with Palworld: it shows "Internet Ip: Not Set", preventing any external connections. In contrast, the Valheim server correctly displays the IP and my friends are able to connect to it without any issues. Why is Palworld not functioning with an external IP while Valheim is?

Mine shows up, but I also added the IP to the PalWorldSettgs.ini file.

Open /home/pwserver/serverfiles/Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini and look towards the end of the line you'll see the IP and it'll be 0.0.0.0. Change to your PUBLIC IP address.

However, I am still having issues.

1. Direct connect to the server works as intended.
2. Searching for server in the server browser doesn't show up.
3. It shows up on recent servers tab, but you can't connect through it. It will fail.

edit:
I had to shut the server down to make the changes to the PalWorldSettings.ini as my change didn't take effect even though the details page shows the public IP. After shutting the server down, editing the PalWorldSettings.ini I can now connect to the server via the recent server tab, but the server still does not show up in the community servers.

It turns out the solution was just to plug and unplug the Ethernet cable. It's surprising that Valheim did not require this step.
